In case you encounter challenges while trying to enable camera/microphone access or screen sharing on your Mac during the assessment, follow the steps below:
Camera and Microphone access for MAC
To enable Camera and Microphone on your Mac please follow these steps:
Step 1: Click the Apple icon on top left corner & Select System Preferences.
Step 2: Click on Security & Privacy from the System Preference menu.
Step 3: Click the Privacy tab.
Step 4: Change the default settings of Camera and Microphone (Refer the images below)
(a) Click Camera from the list of options available on the left-hand side and select the Chrome browser to allow access.
(b) Click Microphone from the list of options available on the left-hand side and select the Chrome browser to allow access.
Step 5 - Go back to your assessment link and refresh the browser to reload the changed setting.
Enable Screen Share on MAC :
Step 1: Click the Apple icon on top left corner & Select System Preferences.
Step 2: Click on Security & Privacy from the System Preference menu.
Step 3: Click the Privacy tab.
Step 4: Allow Screen Recording for Chrome/ Firefox (Refer the images below)
- In case the setting option is locked, click the Lock icon available below on the left corner and enter your Macbook password to open the same.
2. Select the browser to allow Screen Recording in order to enable screen sharing.
Step 5 - Go back to your assessment link and refresh the browser to reload the changed setting.
