Proctoring Setup for Chrome and Firefox

We recommend using Chrome or Firefox browsers for assessments. If you encounter difficulties enabling camera/microphone access or to share screen during assessment, Follow the steps below-

Chrome - mic/cam access

In case you face issues while setting up proctoring on Chrome please follow these steps:

Step 1 - Go to below link:

(copy and paste the url in the browser address bar on a new tab) 

 

Step 2 - Change the default settings of Camera and Microphone to "Allow" (Refer the images below)

a) Allow Camera Access:

 

b) Allow Microphone access:

 Step 3 - Go back to your assessment link and refresh the browser to reload the changed setting.

Step 4 - Proceed to enable Camera/mic access.


Firefox - cam/mic access

In case you face issues while setting up camera/mic access on Firefox, please follow these steps:

Step 1 - Click on the pad lock icon

Step 2 - Change the default settings of Camera and Microphone to "Allow" (Refer the images below)



 Click on More Information:



 Click on Permissions tab and Allow using Camera and Microphone:



Step 3 - Go back to your assessment link and refresh the browser to reload the changed setting

Step 4 - Proceed to enable Camera and microphone access


Enable Screen Share Access 


  • Please click on Enable activity tracking, also enclosed in red box
  • Once you click on that, you will get below prompt:
    
  • Please share your entire screen, then click on the middle red box, and then share.
