This article provides a step-by-step guide to create a new assessment using the Glider platform.
Accessing the Assessment Library
- Navigate to the Assessment Library section on the Glider platform.
- Click on the New Assessment button (the blue button on the top right of the page).
Adding an Assessment Summary
You will be directed to the Add Assessment Summary page.
- Assessment Name: Enter a unique name for the assessment in the provided text box.
- Assessment Type: Select one of the following options:
- Programming
- Aptitude
- General
Optional
- Image: Add an image or icon to represent the assessment by clicking on the placeholder image.
- Sharing Options: Choose one of the following:
- Private: The assessment will only be visible to you.
- Share with Organization: The assessment will be accessible by your organization.
- Lock Option: Toggle the lock to secure the assessment from editing after creation.
- Description: Provide a description of the assessment (not visible to candidates).
- Tags: Add relevant tags to categorize or label the assessment.
Saving the Summary
- Once the mandatory fields are completed, click on the Save button to proceed to the next step.
Adding Questions
- Select the "Add Questions" step from the left-hand workflow panel.
Browsing the Question Library
- Search Questions:
- Use the search bar at the top to enter keywords or skills related to the questions you want to add.
- Enable the checkbox "Show only question tag matches" to refine your search to specific tags.
- Applying Filters:
- Click on "Filters"to narrow down the questions based on criteria such as:
- Domain: Select the subject area, e.g., Tech, Non-Tech.
- Question Type: Choose types like coding, essay, or dropdown questions.
- Language: Specify programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
- Difficulty Level: Filter by levels such as Novice, Intermediate, or Expert.
- Depth of Knowledge: Refine by knowledge depth required.
- Click on "Filters"to narrow down the questions based on criteria such as:
- Sorting Questions:
- Use the "Sort by" dropdown menu to arrange questions based on Popularity, Name, or Recency.
- Select questions by ticking the checkbox next to each question.
- You can view question details by clicking the eye icon.
- After selecting, click "Save & Proceed" to add them to your assessment.
Organizing Questions
- Review your selected questions in the "Add Questions" section:
- Question Types: Review if they are essay-based, coding, or dropdown.
- Languages: Ensure that questions align with your required programming languages or domains.
- Difficulty Level and Points: Verify the difficulty level and allocated points for each question.
- Use the "Create Group" feature if you want to organize questions into sections.
- Use the Move to or Delete options for rearranging or removing questions.
