The Learning and Development (L&D) dashboard is a centralized platform designed to manage assessments, questions, and learners. This manual provides a detailed explanation of the key components available in the dashboard, focusing on the "Assessment Library," filters, "Question Library," learners, and the archiving of assessments. 



Assessment Library

The "Assessment Library" section displays a comprehensive list of assessments. It provides detailed information for each assessment, including:

  • Training Name: The title of the assessment (IT - Soft Eng - Java - Intermediate)
  • Domain: Indicates the domain of the assessment, such as "Tech."
  • Difficulty Level: Specifies the skill level, such as "Intermediate."
  • Total Questions: Shows the number of questions included in the assessment.
  • Skills: Highlights the specific skills being assessed (currently set to 0 by default).
  • Duration: The estimated time required to complete the assessment (e.g., 1 hour).
  • Cutoff Score: The minimum score required to pass the assessment (e.g., 33%).
  • Total Attempts: Indicates how many learners have attempted the assessment.
  • Needs Review: Flags assessments requiring attention.
  • Actions: Offers additional options, such as viewing questions.
  • Settings: It allows you to add or remove questions and edit the configuration with a summary.


Additional Actions:

  • Search Assessments: Use the search bar to find assessments by specific skills or keywords.
  • New Assessment: Create new assessments by clicking the "+ New Assessment" button.
  • Archive Assessments: Move outdated or unused assessments to the archive for better management.


Filters

Filters allow you to refine the displayed assessments based on specific criteria.

Types of Filters:

  • Domain: Narrow down assessments based on categories like "Non-Tech" or "Tech."
  • Difficulty Level: Filter by skill level such as "Beginner," "Intermediate," or "Advanced."
  • Advanced Filters: Access additional filtering options for more granular results.

Use the filters panel on the left to customize the assessment list for your specific needs.


Question Library

The "Question Library" section houses individual questions used in assessments. This feature enables you to:

  • Create and edit questions.
  • Search for questions based on skills and keywords.


Learners

The Learners section in the system provides an overview of all registered learners and their performance metrics. Below is a detailed guide:

 

The dashboard displays key information about each learner. Here’s an explanation of the columns:

Learner Details: Displays the learner's name and associated email address.

Department: This column shows the department the learner belongs to.

Type: Indicates the type or role of the learner. 

Total Attempt: The number of assessments the learner has attempted.

Total Passed: The number of assessments the learner has successfully passed.

Skills: Lists the skills associated with the learner. Clicking on this can provide more detailed insights.

Actions

Add a New Learner

  • Use the + New Learner button at the top to add a new learner to the system. Follow the prompts to input the learner's details.


View Learner Details

  • Click the ellipsis (three dots) or the arrow icon in the Skills column to view detailed information about a specific learner.

Reports

  • Use the Reports button at the top to download the reports.


Sorting and Managing

  • Sort Learners
    Use the Sort by dropdown menu to organize learners.
  • Filters
    Use the filters to sort by Department, Type, Status, Skills, and External/Internal Test takers.
